Today, I finished The Opposite of Loneliness, but Marina Keegan. The Opposite of Loneliness was published after Keegan's death. This isn't a book review, I recommend anyone to read it in their own time. This is only an observation.
It's taken me some time to finish this book. I didn't want to because I enjoy the writing style and the stories are wonderful. Today I did, and at the end of the book (and many others, this is not special for this trait) were several blank pages. This was just appropriate. Those blank pages, still say a lot.
When you buy a new journal, it's bare. You can add anything you like. It's up to you to make it yours. You can talk to it, you can talk to yourself through it, or you can talk entirely in third person. But journals end. Books close. And if you're still there, you can pick up another one.
